Program Overview

Little Thrashers is our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program for kids ages 4–6, based in Bonaire, GA — built around the reality of teaching young children, not just the ideal of it.

Classes meet three days a week and run 45 minutes, combining structured movement, guided play, and age-appropriate drilling. The goal at this stage isn’t technical mastery — it’s building the foundational habits that make everything else possible: listening, focus, coordination, and respect.

Every class is guided by the 3 A's: Attitude, Ability, and Attendance. These aren't just words on a wall — they're the framework coaches use to develop the whole child, not just their grappling.

When kids are ready, Little Thrashers flows directly into our Young Champions program — where the foundations built here become real skills.

Yes. Little Thrashers is built around age-appropriate progression, with coaches who specialize in this age group. Safety is the foundation of every class — not an afterthought.

My kid is shy / has trouble focusing. Will this work for them?
Often, yes. Many parents tell us this kind of training is exactly what their child needed. Martial arts builds focus, structure, and self-regulation in ways that are different from team sports or classroom learning.
What does my child need to wear or bring?
For their first class, comfortable athletic clothing is fine — shorts, a t-shirt, no shoes on the mats, and a water bottle.
